Title or Location: "Peggy's Cove"
The painting titled "Peggy's Cove" was painted from a photography taken a fewmiles outside of Halifax, Nova Scotia at a quaint waterfront area known as Peggy'sCove. Friends of ours who had visited there years before I finished the paintingrecognized it immediately as Peggy's Cove. Seems the old row boat is quite alandmark. Matter of fact, was the old row boat that motivated me to do thepainting. I loved the old peeling, running paint charm. I started painting the oldrow boat f

Title or Location: ?A sunny day ?. oil on canvas 2025
I painted this picture after seeing cows with large horns grazing in a field while driving along the highway?it was the first time I had ever seen such a sight. This inspired me to create this painting. Later, as we entered the city, I noticed a cowboy hat hanging on a gate, and I decided to incorporate it into my artwork by placing it on the cow?s horn. In this way, the impressions of a single day came together in one painting.

Title or Location: Wait For It ?..:)
The story behind this painting stems from my current Art Practice. I study, draw, paint outdoors and most often paint in my studio from my photos as reference. Sometimes I pick a photo reference from Pinterest and interpret it my way.Such is the case here. I used a Pinterest photo because I liked it. It appeared as if the cowboy was waiting for something (Who knows?). I paint on Thursday nights, and post on Friday mornings along with a three word phrase of encouragement and a short sentence to

My spouse?s father passed away two years ago. My artistic mission is to memorialize loved ones so I began experimenting in a variety of mediums in order to capture Conrad?s essence at the twilight of his life. This photo is of my first completed attempt in oil pastel on heavy grade watercolor paper. The effect was striking but my wife wanted a larger and more artistic painting on which I?m currently working on. Once completed, I?d like to post my final painting for comparison and critique

Title or Location: Finding Peace
The location is Budleigh Salterton, Devon, UK.Combination of three different images: the sea, the boat, and the pebbles. The pebbles on the beach typically look uniformly grey. However, for this painting and a series of similar ones, I've exaggerated the colour saturation of the pebbles and super-imposed as the foreground for contrast against the background and middle-ground. "Finding Peace" for those struggling with mental illness impacting their lives.

Title or Location: Bird
I made this for a lovely friends daughter who had to move from her flat in Edinburgh as the landlord was selling up . It didn?t really give her long to get something else especially in Edinburgh so she moved out the city to a house she could afford . She has a disabled son who she shares the responsibility of looking after with her ex partner. So she had to really start again , so I said I would make her a welcome sign with birds on it as she?s also a DJ in Edinburgh who goes by the name of Bird
