Title or Location: Internal Spring
This is a 16x20 Acrylic Dutch Pour & also the 1st time that I used the hair dryer for the paint movement to achieve this beautiful effect.I'm most definitely a "Color Person" & Spring is my Very Favorite season of the year. During spring, plants begin to grow again, new seedlings start sprouting & the wildlife comes out of hibernation. Nature becomes alive again with Beautiful Vibrant Colors. Spring brings New Life and is absolutely beautiful.

Title or Location: Tree of Life
This is a 16x20 Acrylic Painting. I used pieces of paper towel for the swiping of the paint and then used the pallett knife to carve the tree.I did this painting for my mother. For me, my mother is everything. This "Tree of Life" represents a bond that's unbreakable, it's a force that connects us all even between life and death. Reassuring and reminding us all that we will be connected Forever.

Title or Location: The Storm
These are a set of 3 (6x24) Acrylic Paint Pours using a hair dryer for the paint movement. These 3 represent the inner struggles we have within ourselves, overcoming those struggles, and moving ahead of them. The panel on the far left, "The Storm" is brewing and getting bigger and even bigger. The panel in the middle, "The Storm" has landed and is causing epic destruction. The panel on the far right, "The Storm" has passed and the skies are clearing for a beautiful day.

I started my jouney of painting during the beginning of Covid when we all were in lockdown mode. It was then when I started watching YouTube videos and thought "that looks like fun". And now, here I am, painting and loving it! "Flow" is a 24x30 Acrylic Swipe Painting. This particular piece is about t

The owner told me that she wanted something fun, relaxing, and beautiful to adorn her shed. She pointed out the she especially hated the electric meter. About 1/2 way across painting on the shed, she came out with ice tea and asked if I could also include the Blue Ridge Mountains. So, I made the building end (made a corner) and then added some blue ridge mountains off in the background. Finished product has feelings of Greece with Blue Ridge mountains, making it a true fantasy piece!

I saw a similar piece somewhere and decided to try this style as opposed to charcoal portraiture. Oils on canvas. A very different path to choose. But I'm loving it so far.

I painted this recently from a photo I took during a Friends Weekend several years ago. We stopped our bicycles on the bridge and snapped a few photos. The icy cold water was a brilliant blue from the mineral content. The Pine River flows into Vallecito Lake near Bayfield and Durango.
